Actions Speak Loud

 There's a popular saying that many of us have heard before that says, "Actions speak louder than words." It's so true! Many times, we communicate a whole message without saying a word. When I was in undergraduate studies in college, I took a communications class, which was very interesting and enlightening. I remember how we talked about the importance of nonverbal communication and our body language. How we sit, stand, and walk all send a message. I may have shared this before, but when I was younger, I used to slouch a lot. Now, I don't slouch as much. Every now and then, I catch myself doing it and change my posture. When we stand and sit up straight, it displays confidence and attentiveness 😊. We're more likely to be focused when we sit up straight. Our looks send a message too! Laugh Out Loud

 LOL. This probably looks familiar to most of you reading it as you have either said it or typed it to someone else at some time or another😊. LOL is Laugh Out Loud. When was the last time you laughed? For me, it was definitely earlier today. If you haven't laughed today, make sure you find something that can make you laugh. When we laugh, we smile. We should smile at some point in our day πŸ’—. Life can have unexpected turns and have change of plans you didn't see coming. Life can have hard days. Some days can be more bitter than sweet. God knows who and what to send your way to help you smile and laugh in the moments you feel the heaviness and hurt. I remember the morning at the hospital when my Mom passed in 2020. I remember having to make phone calls that morning, and one of my cousins sitting beside me in a room I went to while I made the calls.
