Stay In Your Lane

When you're driving down the road in your car, it's important to stay in your lane. When you're running in a track race, it's important to stay in your lane. If the car doesn't stay in its own lane, there is a higher chance of a collision happening and someone getting hurt. If someone doesn't stay in their lane while running track, they could be disqualified, which means they can't finish the race. In life, we each have our own lane. We each  have been given a unique set of skills, gifts and talents that only we can use. In Romans 12:6, it tell us, "According to the grace given to us, we have different gifts." Lay It All Down

Have you ever tried carrying too much at one time in your hands? Then as a result, you either drop some (or all!) of what you're carrying. When you make it to your destination, you feel tired. The weight was too much to handle. But it didn't seem like it was a lot, right? It seemed like you had it under control. We feel like we got it all under control and we got this. We don't need any help. We tell ourselves it's not really that much. What happens though is we start becoming tired and weighed down. You feel like everything is coming out of your grasp and you become distracted. Oftentimes, we're holding on to things we should let go of and letting go of things we should hold on to. Can I tell you help is available? So glad! We don't have to carry all the weight because it is so tiring ...

Clean Up

Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me. Psalm 51:10 Cleaning is something that needs to be done often. Whether it's cleaning a room in the house, the car, dishes or closet, they require care. When something has not been cleaned for a while, we start to notice. Things start piling up, either in one big pile or mini piles all over. Things start to smell. Spots on dirty dishes start becoming noticeable. When things are piled up, they take up space where something else could be placed. When things start to smell around the house or in the car, it puts unwanted odors in the atmosphere. If dishes have stains on them and aren't clean, no new food can be placed on them until the stains have been removed. And think about after a car has been washed and cleaned out inside. It looks like you have a brand new car! In general after cleaning, everything looks good. But getting started though can be the hard part, right?! I'm with you!! If we take that much...
