Be The One

Will you be the One who does right? Even if no one else is doing right, would you still do it? Yes, I know. It can be hard to be the only One doing right. It can be hard to be in the minority when everyone else is in the majority. We do live in a time where a lot of people are doing wrong and going along with wrong. However, we don't have to be that one. We don't have to go along with the wrong. We can be the One who goes in the right direction and sets a good example. Our neighbors, classmates, coworkers, students, family members, friends, clients, customers and brothers and sisters in Christ need us to set a good example. They may not see a good example anywhere else. All it takes is One person to step up and make a change. Only One! Can you imagine if One started a change, then another, then another and so on?! Before you know it, change is starting to happen in some of the most unlikely places you thought you would see it in. Change would be everywhere! We might be nervous when we're the only One stepping out to do what's right, but that's alright. Make that step anyhow. God will give us the confidence, courage and faith we need to be that One. So, let's decide today that we will be the One. We will be the One who smiles. Be the One to say hello. Be the One who speaks first. Be the One who cares. Be the One who helps. Be the One who loves. Be the One who does self- reflection. Be the One who takes time for others. Be the One who checks on others. Be the One who forgives. Be the One who gives thanks. Be the One who holds your head up high. Be the One who prays. Be the One who rests. Be the One who appreciates progress. Be the One who works towards improvement. Be the One who recognizes that every new day is a fresh start. Be the One that recognizes that a fresh start doesn't just have to begin with a new day, but anytime of the day. Be the One who steps out and makes a difference. What if we all decided to be the One that does what's right? Will you make that decision today and every day? The good news is that all ages and people can be the One who does right! Think about what our communities, schools, job, colleges, churches, families, world would look like. We would see a big difference! So let's not underestimate the power of One. Let's be determined to be the One every day!

 That statement alone is powerful! At some point in our lives, we may have felt like we were all by ourselves and no one else could relate to what we were going through. We may have even felt like no one else cared, and we couldn't share with anyone what we were going through. If you have felt any of the above, at any given point of time, you are not alone! I have felt all of these before. Today, I want to reassure you that you are not alone 💖. I know it may look and feel that way, but you're not. Everyone's life story is different. Live Your Best Life

 I am so grateful for the gift of life! If we can't find nothing else to be thankful for, we can be thankful for the life God has given us 😊. I have learned not to take my life for granted, nor the people God has placed in my life for granted. We only get one life to live, and we should live it well. We don't know when it will be a last chance to do something or say something to someone. We don't know when it will be the last time we see someone, whether that be at work, store, school, church, community, family or friends. We don't know when a day will be our last day.
