Do You See The Evidence?

When you think about evidence, you may think about proof needed to make a point or get someone to believe a certain way. In looking at the meaning of evidence, it is facts and information for believing that something is true or present. Now, I don't know everything about being in the legal field, but I do know that there are many times when one has to dig deeper in investigating and finding the information. Sometimes, the evidence may be obvious. However, sometimes it may not be so much at first and taking a closer look is a wise idea. In thinking about the meaning of evidence I shared with you earlier, I now want to pose a question to you: "What has God done for you lately?" Now, this question will get a variety of answers that range from general (He woke us up, gave us a job, family, the use of our limbs, etc.) to more specific ( a personal situation of how He has moved in your life recently). Regardless of your initial response to the question, we all should be able to answer it. The fact that we're still breathing and you're able to read this post right now is evidence that God has done something for us. Life is so very precious and should not be taken for granted πŸ’–. There are many times where we just have to stop and reflect on where God has brought us from πŸ™. We have to reflect on what He's done up to this point in our lives. At least once a day, we should do this. I don't know about you, but I start getting excited for all that God has done for me. I know He has done a lot for me- thank you God πŸ‘!! We need to remind ourselves daily of God's evidence in our lives. We need to remind ourselves of past victories. On the hardest days especially, we may need to dig deeper  to see the evidence. In the valley and low points, you need to know God is there even when it looks like nothing is happening. We need to look at what and who we still have in our lives. That's the evidence πŸ‘!! We can believe that God is still working even when we can't see it. I had to know that God was still working even as I was healing from surgery. If you haven't read my last blog post where I talk about it, make sure to go back and read "Protect Your Peace." I had to hold on to the evidence that God cared even in the pain and when it looked like no progress was being made. Slowly, but surely, progress was being made as I saw the evidence in my steps moving a little quicker each day and less pain in the stomach area as I sat up. Praise God πŸ‘!! Even in the setback going to the emergency room one day, I still had to hold on to the evidence that God was with me and it could have been worse. So, I have another question for you (I'm full of questions today!): "Do you see the evidence?" God has worked and is still working in our lives. How do I know? We're still here breathing and have the gift of life. As long we're breathing, that's evidence of God's goodness. We can go further than that as we think about the personal ways God has come through for us, our families, on the job/at school or college, protected us, and provided for us. In my healing, I still had to muster up a praise and say "Thank you Lord." I had to declare that God is still good πŸ‘. Why? There was evidence that God hadn't left me. I'm so grateful to God that He didn't! Today, I want to encourage you to look for the evidence of God's goodness. Every day, be thankful for all God does. Whether you verbally say it aloud in your prayer time, write it down in your journal or notes app on your phone, or do both, take time to recognize the things God has done and is doing πŸ’–. Then, we can declare like David in the Bible did in Psalms 27:13. "I am certain that I will see the Lord's goodness in the land of the living." Be sure to embrace God's goodness. Share it with others. Remember to look for it every day in and around you. Do you see the evidence of God's goodness? It's all around us πŸ’– .  I'm so grateful! I pray you stay grateful also and may God bless you!
