Laugh Out Loud
LOL. This probably looks familiar to most of you reading it as you have either said it or typed it to someone else at some time or anotherπ. LOL is Laugh Out Loud. When was the last time you laughed? For me, it was definitely earlier today. If you haven't laughed today, make sure you find something that can make you laugh. When we laugh, we smile. We should smile at some point in our day π. Life can have unexpected turns and have change of plans you didn't see coming. Life can have hard days. Some days can be more bitter than sweet. God knows who and what to send your way to help you smile and laugh in the moments you feel the heaviness and hurt. I remember the morning at the hospital when my Mom passed in 2020. I remember having to make phone calls that morning, and one of my cousins sitting beside me in a room I went to while I made the calls. I remember even through the tears of that day, I was able to muster up a smile and laugh before the day was out. Someone in my family had made me laugh! If you know my family (Mom and Dad's side), we love to laugh π. So, I've learned to do things that make me smile and laugh daily. What I do does vary depending on the day. Some days, it's watching a funny movie, video, or TV episode. Other days, it may be looking at past pictures, coloring, or doing my word search puzzles. A side note: I love pictures as most of you know by now! However, I love keeping pictures on my phone and photo albums because it does help me smile and laugh on those days I need an extra boost especially. Other times, I can count on a conversation with family, friends, co-workers, or students that make me laugh and smile. There is never a dull moment working at a middle school with 6th graders!! You never know what you're going to getπ!! I do my best to read every day, so I can usually find something to smile about there. Thinking about a funny memory or having a new experience or adventure also makes me smile. There's a lot going on in our world, and we all have different personal situations too. In those moments even the more, we have to find something that makes us smileπ. We should all have at least 1 or more people in our lives that make us laugh. I'm grateful I do as I have quite a few π!! Proverbs 17:22 says, "A cheerful heart is good medicine, but a broken spirit saps a person's strength." That's good medicine right there! So, find your source of smile and laughs. Take time to smile and laugh each day. It will make a difference! God bless you all!!
So true! There is nothing like having good laugh!
