You're Not Alone

That statement alone is powerful! At some point in our lives, we may have felt like we were all by ourselves and no one else could relate to what we were going through. We may have even felt like no one else cared, and we couldn't share with anyone what we were going through. If you have felt any of the above, at any given point of time, you are not alone! I have felt all of these before. Today, I want to reassure you that you are not alone πŸ’–. I know it may look and feel that way, but you're not. Everyone's life story is different. However, I guarantee if you were to take a closer look at our stories, you would find some common themes. At some point, we all have or will experience rejection, failure, loss of something or someone, frustration, disappointment, hurt, feeling different, and not knowing what to do in making a tough decision. While the situations may come in different forms, many of the same themes are interwoven throughout them. Our story is important and should be shared at the right time with the right people. No, you can't share your story with everyone, but pray and know God will lead you in the right way and to the right people. You never know who will be encouraged when you share your story 😊. You never know who may be dealing with a similar situation or can share advice or resources that helped them in the situation. On a social media post a few years ago, I shared about how I passed my Math teacher test after my third try. I remember two young ladies commenting and messaging me saying how I had inspired them to keep working towards their goal and studying for a test they had put off. I'm grateful to God that my story of not giving up after the first 2 attempts inspired someone else πŸ’–. It's good to know we're not alone! Not only is sharing our story important when we can, but so is our circle. Who we call our friend is very important! You want people in your circle that remind you that you're not alone and value you. I am so grateful for those in my circle 😊. I can go to them and share my losses, frustrations, failures, and disappointments, and they do not judge. They listen, give encouragement, make me laugh, or just sit with me depending on what I need in that moment.  They either share wisdom because they have experienced what I have or they are a listening ear for me.  I send a big thank you to all my people if you are reading this πŸ’–!! I'm grateful that I'm not alone! So, today's message is simply to remind you that you are not alone. I know there's a lot going on in the world, but hold on to the fact that you're not alone. Someone else has experienced what you're going through. Someone will be that listening ear you need or shoulder to cry on. You can share your story with someone else, even if that's one person. Someone will walk with you on this journey called life. Find your people. If you have found your people ( I like to say your village), stick with your people πŸ’–πŸ’–. Remember, God is always with you! I want to leave you with the Scripture verse Deuteronomy 31:6 that says, "Be strong and courageous; don't be terrified or afraid of them. For the Lord your God is the one who will go with you; he will not leave you or abandon you." You're not alone! God bless you all!!
