Stay Faithful
Have you ever felt like you were working towards something (a goal, good habit, progress on a goal, etc.) and you weren't seeing any visible results? You were doing the work, but it seemed like nothing was changing. You're taking steps forward in the right direction, but it still seems like nothing's happening. Things are moving, but it seems to be going too slow for you. You're trying to maintain a positive mindset, but you're between faith and doubt constantly. If you can relate to any of these, you are not alone! Today, I want to encourage you to keep doing what's right no matter how big or small it may seem π. Sometimes, we feel like we're not seen or what we're doing is not working. Others see it too, but they may not always express that verbally. Know that God always sees us and that's what matters! Being consistent is so important and effective. We have to be consistent in taking care of ourselves π. We need to be consistent in doing the best we can at church, work, school, family and community. Doing what's right does pay off in all areas of our livesπ. It pays off in our mind, body, soul, health, finances and relationships. When we do what's right consistently, we build good habits. We want to be faithful to it. Being faithful means being loyal and staying true to something. We serve a faithful God who always keeps His Word! We should be faithful in all we do π. I encourage you to be faithful right where you are in this season of your life. Galatians 6:9 says "Let us not get tired of doing good, for we will reap at the proper time if we don't give up." Regardless of how many people are not doing right, let's make sure we're doing right. Regardless of how small of an action it may seem, let's do right anyway. I'm reminded of the story of the three servants in Matthew 25:14-30 in the Bible. Each servant received a certain number of talents- five, two, and one respectively. The men who got five and two talents used their talents and earned more. The servant who received one did not use his talent at all, but he hid it in the ground. When the owner of the house came back home, he told the two servants who had used what they had been given. "Well done, good and faithful servant! You were faithful over a few things; I will put you in charge of many things." Let's not be like the servant who didn't use the one talent. Let's use what we have been given π. When we can be faithful over the small things, then we can handle bigger things. Another Bible verse, Zechariah 4:10, says "Do not despise small beginnings." Let's stay faithful to God as He's always faithful to us! Let's also be faithful in the roles we have in our family, career, church, and community. Stay true to who you are. We can't always see the changes right away, but change is taking place. I want to leave you with this Scripture from Hebrews 10:23- "Let us hold unswervingly to the hope without wavering, since he who promised is faithful." Keep planting good seeds. Keep living your best life. Keep being faithful π. May God continue to bless you!!
Well said !!! God sees it’s all!! Amen
