The Choice Is Yours

Choices! Choices are everywhere. Life is full of choices. We make lots of choices every day. We make choices about what clothes we wear, food we eat, people we hang out with, words we say. In school and college, we can choose what classes to take and majors we will pursue. We can choose to pursue a certain career or enter into the military. Our choices can be right or wrong, positive or negative. Of all the choices we make, the most important choice we can ever make is to have a relationship with Jesus. God chose to send His only son Jesus to die and be raised to life for us, so we could be saved. God loves us that much! You're one prayer away if you haven't made that choice. To ask Jesus to come into your heart and life, you just need to know ABC. A stands for admitting that you have sinned and done wrong. B stands for believing Jesus died on the cross for your sins and wants to give you a new life. C stands for confessing the sins that you have done. Having Jesus in our lives will help us make right choices. Ephesians 5:15-16 says, "Be careful then how you live, not as unwise, but as wise, making the most of every opportunity because the days are evil." So, let's make good choices every day. Let's choose to hold our head up high. Let's choose to give thanks to God no matter what is going on. Let's choose to pray and read God's Word. Let's choose to live out the Word of God. Let's choose words that help and not hurt others. Let's choose to appreciate and love everybody. Let's choose to be respectful, kind and forgiving even when we are not shown them back.  Let's find opportunities to help others throughout our day. In all we do, let's make choices that please God. Wherever we go, school, work, college, a restaurant, family reunion, remember the choice is yours!
