A New Day

Welcome! You have made it to see a new day! I'm glad you're here 😊. A new day holds new opportunities, new experiences, new connections, and new memories πŸ’–. When something is new, it's never been seen and it's original. We should be grateful when we get to experience a new day! It's a day we have never seen before and a day we will never see again when it's over. I'm learning more and more of the value of a new day and not to take it for granted. Everyone does not make it to see a new day. I'm learning more and more to cherish the day and the people in my life in that day. Each new day allows us to learn something new, improve, grow, make memories with those we love, and enjoy life 😊. I do my best to focus on progress. However, I will be honest. There's a perfectionist in me! Some of you may can relate to that πŸ˜‰. The perfectionist definitely rises up a lot. Even in that, I remind myself to do the best I can and look how far I've come. Each new day gives you a new opportunity to make new memories. I have shared this in previous blog posts, but I love to take pictures πŸ’–! Every memory does have not have to be captured with a camera, but we should capture the good memories with our heart. Good memories help us in the tough times and when we are missing loved ones who we made those memories with. Every day will not go smoothly, but it will be okay! There will be mistakes and obstacles along the way, but it will be okay! I know it doesn't always feel like it, but it will be. You see, a new day also offers something else that hasn't been mentioned yet. A new day offers a fresh start πŸ™! Each new day gives us a new opportunity to be at a better place than we were the day before. It may be actions, but it also could be in our thoughts and changing the way we look at a situation. Changing our perspective can make a difference! I'm so thankful for fresh starts 😊! As a teacher, I like to share with my students that each day is a fresh start in my classroom. Regardless of the struggles and happenings from the day before, a new day is a chance to learn the lessons and make a change to do better. This applies to the students and I alike. A Scripture that is one of my favorites and that I keep close to my heart is Psalm 118:24. It says, "This is the day the Lord has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it." Let's remain thankful for each new day God has blessed us to see πŸ‘! Don't forget to cherish the good memories and take the lessons from the difficult memories. We can know that God's got us, no matter what happens throughout our day. Let's greet each new day ready to embrace the new. So, what do you say? Hello new day πŸ’–!! Hello new opportunities πŸ’–!!
