The Gift of YOU

 Yes, You! You are a gift💝!! There is no one else like you, and there will be anyone else like you. You are precious. You are valuable. You are worthy of good things. Your life matters 😊. We should not take our lives for granted. We should be thankful each day, each moment, each hour, each second we have. Life can bring many unexpected situations and experiences. Life can change in an instant! That's why it's important to cherish the gift of life itself and hold our head up high 💖. Don't let anyone take advantage of you and mistreat you. It's important that we surround ourselves with people that uplift and encourage us. We should be able to be ourselves in our circle. If you can't, check that circle! It's important that we walk into every room as ourselves. Someone needs you to be you. God needs you to be you. Being you is what matters 😊. Let your personality shine through. Let your gifts be shared. We don't have to try to impress anyone. At the end of the day, our goal should be to please God. God wants us to be ourselves. We are his masterpiece and have been created to do good works (Ephesians 2:10). We are fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14). We are chosen and loved by Him always 💖. Be you everywhere you go. On social media, be you. I've learned that your people are going to love the real you, not the one you pretend to be. Being ourselves is the best gift we can give someone 😊. When it comes to the gift of YOU, I want you to think about Yes, Original, Unique.

Yes- Only say yes to things, places, and relationships where you can be yourself. If not, let's not say yes. 

Original- An original is created directly by a particular designer. We have been created by God. There's only one of us. Let's appreciate and own that 😊.

Unique- We are one of a kind! We have unique gifts, talents, and styles that set us apart. Let's embrace and own that. 

So, the next time you think about compromising or downplaying who are, remember this acronym for Y.O.U. We can be thankful for the gift of life every day 💝. I am so grateful for my life and all that God has done, is doing and will do! Keep being you- it looks good on you! Love and blessings to all 😊!

 Twenty four hours. That's how much time we get in one day. We all get the same amount of time. Sometimes (perhaps a lot of time!), it doesn't feel like we have that much time in a day.  That statement alone is powerful! At some point in our lives, we may have felt like we were all by ourselves and no one else could relate to what we were going through. We may have even felt like no one else cared, and we couldn't share with anyone what we were going through. If you have felt any of the above, at any given point of time, you are not alone! I have felt all of these before. Today, I want to reassure you that you are not alone 💖. I know it may look and feel that way, but you're not. Everyone's life story is different. However, I guarantee if you were to take a closer look at our stories, you would find some common themes. At some point, we all have or will experience rejection, failure, loss of something or someone, frustration, disappointment, hurt, feeling different, and not knowing what to do in making a tough decision. Live Your Best Life

 I am so grateful for the gift of life! If we can't find nothing else to be thankful for, we can be thankful for the life God has given us 😊. I have learned not to take my life for granted, nor the people God has placed in my life for granted. We only get one life to live, and we should live it well. We don't know when it will be a last chance to do something or say something to someone. We don't know when it will be the last time we see someone, whether that be at work, store, school, church, community, family or friends. We don't know when a day will be our last day. That's why it's so important to live out today. I'm reminded of Matthew 6:34 in the Bible that says, "Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself.
